Groovin’ on Sunday Afternoon

The Groove DANCEfloor is a dynamically interactive and creative group dance experience. I like to say Groove lives in the sweet spot between jamming in your living room with your BFFs, and kicking it up in a Zumba class.

As your facilitator, I will UNITE everyone in a simple movement or rhythm. You get to dance it your own UNIQUE way. You get to explore a variety of styles and genres, everything from slow delicious meditative grooves, to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. Each Groove session starts off with a slow warmup and ends with stillness. You get to enjoy and feel good in your body, every step along the way. There's no way to get it wrong when you listen to your body and dance in ways that make you feel beautiful and strong!

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. We usually dance barefoot and I know that option doesn’t work for everyone. You are welcome to bring soft-soled shoes that are indoor shoes only (to protect our bamboo floor).
