Rise and Shine Yoga

Open up your morning with flexibility, balance and focus. This practice of yoga infused with Qigong moves at a mindful pace, allowing you to sync breath and movement with deeper awareness. Refresh your mind and bring greater ease into your day. Variations will be offered to suit continuing beginners and seasoned yogis alike.

Monday Morning Mix

Get a fresh start on your week with this all-levels practice. Flow-style yoga is infused with Qigong to cultivate flexibility, balance and focus. Variations offered to suit continuing beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Bring a mat and a blanket, plus a strap & blocks if you have them.

Groovin’ on Sunday Afternoon

The Groove DANCEfloor is a dynamically interactive and creative group dance experience. I like to say Groove lives in the sweet spot between jamming in your living room with your BFFs, and kicking it up in a Zumba class.

As your facilitator, I will UNITE everyone in a simple movement or rhythm. You get to dance it your own UNIQUE way. You get to explore a variety of styles and genres, everything from slow delicious meditative grooves, to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. Each Groove session starts off with a slow warmup and ends with stillness. You get to enjoy and feel good in your body, every step along the way. There's no way to get it wrong when you listen to your body and dance in ways that make you feel beautiful and strong!

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. We usually dance barefoot and I know that option doesn’t work for everyone. You are welcome to bring soft-soled shoes that are indoor shoes only (to protect our bamboo floor).

New Shapes, New Habits, New Year

Let’s gather on New Year’s Day to welcome the year, welcome the light, and start off fresh with a qigong-infused yoga practice. All practitioners are welcome. And the extra 15 minutes gives us extra time for an extra-restful savasana to round-out the practice. (Note this practice will be at my studio in the Strand building.)
